The Darco Med-Surg shoe is one of the best post op shoes available - in fact, the rocker sole reduces pressure on the forefoot and heel by over 25% compared to standard post op shoes. In addition to this, the strapless forefoot closure eliminates buckle pressure on the forefoot.

The shoe is designed with a square toe which acts as a bumper to provide additional protection when K-wires are present and a removable insole which is fully customisable provides twice the padding.

The Med-Surg is designed with safety in mind. The new ankle strap stops the heel from slipping, the zoned outsole provides traction under the midfoot and the metashank protection provides more rigid control under the metatarsal heads.
